About the redesign: This website was redesigned to be search engine friendly as well as user friendly, compared to the previous all-Flash design, which prohibited the site from being properly cataloged in the search engines and lacked ease of navigation.  The intent of this design was to add "just enough" Flash to give the site pizazz yet be compliant with the search engine rules.

About the client: VIP Salon was established in 1986 by Reneé Marie Borowy as a nail and tanning salon. After four complete expansions, VIP announced VIP SALON & SPA and was awarded National Salon of the Year in Las Vegas in 2006. "We are very proud of this award and what a great way to celebrate our 20th year in business!" says Reneé Borowy. VIP was also the first runner up for this award in 2005.

They recently won two awards in October 2008 from the Industry Source the National #1 Salon for nails and another award as the “Best and Brightest in Michigan through Allure Magazine October 2008.  This award-winning salon is a leader in beauty and body care.  We are "mutual clients" as I have been a client of VIP for many years and know firsthand what a wonderful salon this is.
